Visit to Kentucky

Boy, what a great time we had in Kentucky. Owen was a really good boy on the airplane both ways, even though he accidentally got his foot caught on the seat and cried out really loud, because it really HURT! Mommy panicked, because I couldn't get him free, but we finally managed to flip him over and get his foot loose. What a frightening experience... Despite that, Grandma, Great Grandma, Mommy, Daddy and Owen all made the journey to Kentucky.

First off, it was wonderful to meet little Sienna. Sienna is a doll, very sweet little baby and even though she had a cold, she showed us her pretty smile every chance she could. What a cutie she is. She is starting to smile and makes all those wonderful baby sounds. And it's funny but Mommy and Daddy already have a hard time remembering that little Owen (looked like Gigantor next to Sienna) was ever that tiny!

Uncle Steve and Aunt Lisa's new house. it's really REALLY big and amazing inside and out. They really have a beautiful home, it is so nicely decorated and "smart" with all the electronics and speakers, so very cool... Mommy and Daddy were very impressed. Owen was most impressed with their fabulous swimming pool. It was so fun to be able to swim at anytime. He was just a little fish!

Taylor sure loves her little sister, she hugs and holds and kisses her every chance she gets. It's so sweet!

Saturday, we went swimming shortly after arriving, and we had a great cookout for dinner and even night swimming. That was really fun, and Owen really enjoyed it. The pool was so warm, it was like a bathtub!

Owen also got to play with all of Taylor's cool toys! She has tons of stuff, and he liked everything he played with. Hmmm, I'm sensing a trip to Toys R Us for a bunch of new things... She had neat ride on toys, jumping toys, and even tunnels, tents and forts.
Sunday was very relaxing. Owen went for a walk with Grandma and then we swam in the morning, Owen napped really well (nearly 3 hours) and then we played more in Taylor's play room and then went swimming again.

We also had a chance to really spend some time with Baby Sienna. She naps a lot, but all babies that are 6 weeks old do, but she sure is a cutie... We also got to go night swimming again... I think Daddy really wants a pool after this trip. What fun!

Monday, even though we had to leave to go home, we still got to go swimming in the morning, then our flight was delayed but we still really had so much fun. We were all so glad to finally see their new home and meet their wonderful new addition. It will be so wonderful to see Sienna in a few months and see her personality develop. Thanks for letting us all come to visit!
